A data-driven, social science exploration of the links between human rights, democracy, impunity, and corruption.

The authors of this article find that the correlations between human rights, democracy, impunity, and corruption vary and are stronger at medium and high levels of rights observance. They conclude with recommendations aimed at Mexico.
